While visiting my ancestral home last weekend, I asked my mom to show me how to make the popovers she used to put out with crabmeat bisque when I was a kid. (The popovers I made using a a friend’s Bread Baker’s Bible turned out flabby and insufficiently popped.) Coincidentally, Level 1 Chef adapted a popover recipe to create the iconic Skyrim sweetroll.
